Finding your way around
Eyesepx.com  has been designed for easy browsing, so you’ll likely notice how straightforward the experience is the first time you land on the homepage. Don’t be fooled, however, as there are still a few areas of the site that benefit from a brief explanation.

Searching products by category
The main site navigation can be found at the top of every page (surprising, we know). This navigation has been designed to jump directly into a product search, based on the broadest categories. As you’ll see, these categories are defined by gender, age and brand. With the help of drop-down menus, you can access sub-categories for each of these main pages. There, you’ll be able to further narrow your search by frame material, price point, and frame style. This search option is good for someone who doesn’t have a specific product in mind, but a basic idea of what they like or need. For more targeted results, you’ll want to utilize our advanced search option, explained below.

Using the advanced product search
There are many occasions when an Eyespex shopper will know exactly what they want. If you happen to be that lucky and prefer to bypass the more general “category” search described above, then you’ll be using our Advanced Search form. This is the multiple-choice form located at the top of the sidebar on most pages. Here, you can define your search according to any number of categories. There is no wrong way to use this tool, as long as you’re picking the options you most desire. This form is accessible from any product page and can be updated as needed in order to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Seeing Is Believing

One of the unique features on our site that we'll be unveiling soon is our Virtual Try On experience. Knowing how a pair of frames are going to look on you before you buy them is a great option to have and using the VTO to your advantage is easy. From any frame detail page, you’ll notice a button located adjacent to the frame options that says “VTO”. Clicking that link will launch the VTO experience. Once loaded, you are given a number of options; Your first option is to upload a photo of yourself. By doing so, you can see how a particular pair of frames will look on you. You can even adjust the orientation of the frames so that what you see on the screen is an honest reflection of what you’ll see when you put them on your face. And if you’re not sure how you feel about a frame, ask your friends! Posting an image to Facebook of you with your virtual glasses is easy! You can also email it to someone if you’re not quite ready to share with the rest of the world.

No picture? No problem.
There is always the chance that you don’t have a photo of yourself readily available. That’s fine, because with our second option, you can use one of the stock model photos on file to illustrate how the frames look when worn, insuring that the VTO experience will be useful no matter what.

Creating RX profiles for your account
When shopping for eye glasses online, you inevitably have to enter your prescription information before placing your order. Not so at Eyespex.com! We understand that you may not have your RX in hand when shopping for glasses, or maybe you need to contact your doctor to obtain that information. That shouldn’t prevent you from buying the frames you want, which is why we let you place an order without prescription information on file. All we ask is that you provide us with that info at your earliest convenience so that we may complete and ship your order promptly. We’ll be sure to send you an email with a friendly reminder.

If you do happen to have your RX readily available, creating an RX profile can make your life a lot easier the next time you go to order a pair of frames. All Eyespex users must register on the site in order to complete a purchase. Once you’ve created an account with us, you can create your first RX profile, name it and save it to your account for future use. You can create as many profiles as you need, so make sure the whole family is on file! It will be that much easier to place an order the next time around.

Save now, Buy Later
We’ve all been there; sitting at your desk during a lunch break, reading through email, maybe doing a little online shopping. Sometimes you find something you just have to have, but feel like running it by the spouse or asking a friend for a second opinion. That’s when saving a shopping cart can be especially handy. Doing so is easy. All you have to do is make sure you’re registered with us. From there, just pick out the perfect set of frames, place them in the shopping cart and choose “save for later”. Doing so will literally “save” you time when you go back to look again. To make them yours, just complete your RX info on the lens option page and select the "complete purchase" button at the bottom of the screen.
